Haven't been blogging for so long!I should make an effort to blog more here...

My dolls and I went to a Blythe meet recently.It was a Halloween themed gathering.Tina dressed as a ballerina and Lara as a police!Fort canning was fulled with ants:(

Tina also got a doll recently.Her 'Kozy friend's' mama gave it to her...She love it very much!She heard that her 'Kozy friend' is going to be adopted away:(Tina asked me to adopt her friend but Kozy is such an expensive doll!

There will be a gathering at the end of November.My dolls and I are all very excited.Haha.It's going to be a picnic gathering!:D

Nana:'Are you sure this would work?'
Big bunny:'It will if your owner is smart enough to follow the foot prints and go into the attic!'

Nana:'Alright then.'

Nana step into the paint and left foot prints leading towards the attic door...

Meanwhile,poor Rara were crying in the attic,thinking that she'll never see Nana again.

'Oh,how I miss her!She must have went out of the door and got herself seen by a human!She's possibly been thrown away and burned as rubbish by now!'

'I must go out and find her.Dead or alive!'

Rara went out of the attic quietly,not wanting the human in the house to hear her footsteps...

And how surprise she was to see footprints leading towards the attic door!

'That silly girl!Such a big head but what a pea brain!The human will know that we're alive if they see those!I must clean them up!'

'There.All done!'

Rara rubbed her face with her dirty hands...

(Don't worry.It's washable!)

'How tiring!Guess I'll sleep here for a moment...'

Rara woke up and found herself laying in the lap of a human being.

'What is that dirty little thing?',a voice said.

'I found her outside the attic',the human being replied.

'It's pretty old and dirty,are you going to keep it?'

'It will do fine after I finish washing her.She will be a great friend for my Tina!'

'Let's go wash up,little dolly!'

And so the lady clean Rara up and gave her new clothes.

'Now,fresh and clean!Let's go and meet your new friend should we?'

How shocked Nana was to see the human bringing Rara with her!

'You're back!Oh,I miss you so much,Rara!'

Nana went up and hug Rara.

They sat down and talk about what happened over the pass few days.

Nana:'I was hiding behind some boxes but the human saw me and pick me up!She even change my name to Tina.'

Rara:'She changed my name too!Lara is a nice name,isn't it?'

Nana:'I like your new name!Oh,there's someone I need you to meet!'

Nana:'Thank you so much,big bunny!'

Big bunny:'Oh well.But it almost got the two of you into trouble.'

Rara:'But things work out in the end.Thank you bunny for helping us!'

Nana and Rara hug the big bunny and live happily ever after with their new owner!

Singapore Toys and Comics convention

Went for the Singapore Toys and Comics convention and blythe gathering last Saturday.We went around looking at blythe of course.It was fun!The human had fun and so did the dollsXD

I seem to have missed some of the blythe dolls on display.I so wanted to see Darling Diva in real life:(The place was just so crowded!!!

Milky way sugar?Peony?

In my dream dolly family,there will be 4 brunettes.Tina,a love mission,a RDP and lastly,a goldie of course.

But I think I'll have to add Milky Way Sugar to the list.

5 brunettes is a little over the top isn't it?After all,there's still the red heads,blondes,and fantasy hair girls to consider!

Should I replace RDP with Milky Way Sugar(I don't mind an SBL.Even since I saw a Rosie red in a window display,I have been wanting one.They are just so different from the other mold!)?Or perhaps I should wait for my lust of love mission to die off?

Oh my god,she's beautiful!She even got a pair of earholes!I think I'll forget about love mission and RDP for the moment:D

As for Peony,I guess I won't be able to affort her:(But I really really like her too!

The voice come nearer and nearer and Nana tried to hide in the maze of some old boxes and books.

But it was too late!The human walked closer and closer and stop in her track when she saw Nana.

"Oh look.It's a cute little dolly!The previous family must have left it here!"A kind voice said.

"Poor thing.You are in need of a little bath!"

She took Nana out of the attic.

"Oh no!I can't be leaving Rara behide!"

The kind lady(that's me!) took her to the bathroom and wash the little dolly.She wrap her up like a little baby.

"You wouldn't want to catch a cold,would you?"

She made a dollhouse for her and bought her lots of clothes and furniture for her little house.

The kind lady took lots of photos of her and post them up on [url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/evolna/]flickr[/url].She even takes her out of the house sometimes!

Nana likes her a lot.But she misses Rara too.

"Poor Rara.Living in the dark attic all alone!How I wish I could go and find her!But if I do,the human would know that I am alive!She would throw me out of the house and I won't be able to meet Rara anymore!"

Nana sob tearlessly(LOL).

"I heard you were bought out from the attic?"The giant bunny asked.

"You can talk too?!"

"Yea I do.And so does the watermelon plushie she made for you."

"Seriously?"

"Kidding!You aren't very smart isn't it?"

"You're so mean!"

"Whatever.Why were you sobbing?"

"I miss my friend in the attic!"

"Hmm.I can help you bring her here."

"But the human would know that we are alive!"

"Well,if she go there herself and bring your friend here,she wouldn't know!Come with me.I've got an idea."

Nana follow her out of the little dolly house.

The magic shoes-Part two

Amusingly,the shoes started moving and bringing their feet along!

Rara:"I know what are those!They are dancing shoes!"

Nana:"Dancing shoes doesn't dance!"

Rara:"Well,those must be dancing 'dancing shoes'!

So they tried dancing tap dance...

Nana:"It works!"

and ballet...

and waltz!

How much fun they had!For days the two dollies did nothing but dancing.

Rara:"I'm so tired!"

Nana:"Oh,come on!We haven't tried the cancan!!!After all,it's those shoes that are dancing,not our own feet!"

Rara:"Let me take a nap first."

She closed her eyes and drift off to sleep.

"Never mind then!I'll play myself!"

Nana walked off.

"Hmm...I think I heard some noise?"

Nana took a look out of the attic door.

And how shocked she was to hear human voices!

"It's coming in this direction!"

The Magic Shoes-Part 1

Not too long ago, in a not too far away land, there were two dollies living in a old house. They was abandon by their owner, and left in the dark attic all by themselves. The two dolls was soon forgotten, years went by and no one ever saw them nor knew of their existence.

"How I wish I could dance. "Rara thought to herself. How boring it is to be living in a dark attic! And so she fell asleep while sitting beside an old music box(if you haven’t heard, dolls do come alive when no human are watching!).

Magically, the music box opened by itself when Rara was asleep and the music disrupted Rara.

“Wasn’t it an spoil music box?”

She took a closer look. And to her surprise, there were two pair of shoes inside! She haven’t had any shoes in ages!

“I saw some shoes!” Rara told Nana excitedly.

“Oh gosh. Making up stories again.” Nana rolled her eyes.

“Go take a look!” Rara replied.

To Nana's surprise, laying inside of the music box were two pairs of shoes!

They both took a closer look.

“Let’s try them on!” Rara said excitedly.

My second Blythe doll!It's a Prima Dolly Aubrey encore.Have decided to call her Lara.

I am still trying to bond with her:(

Changed her eyelashes...

Her eyeshadow got rubbed off while I was doing her lashes:(Would possibly redo her eyeshadow someday!It seem that I prefer dolls with darker makeup?I want to change her front facing eyechip too.The orange looks too weird!I'll change it to brown perhaps?But I kind of like the pink however.

Tina is a little too excited to see her new sister!

Tina:Hi!I'm Tina!Nice to have you here.I've been waiting for a sister for so long!What is your name?Have mama named you yet?Did she make you a dress too?She made me one.I think she's going to make some for you too!I see that you're wearing my clothes!But that's okay as long as you lend me yours!Heehee

Lara:Oh gosh.Is she like,talking to me?

LOL!

I think I need a blonde next!Hollywood perhaps?The only blondes that I like for now is Hollywood and Mondrian.I saw a matte Hollywood for $750 on eBay!It's a little too expensive but I really want her:(Or perhaps I'll try to adopt one from someone?I don't mind the shiny one either.Hollywood was my first love!

Alright.I've decided to buy her!!!I'll be picking her up on Wednesday:D

I was 'researching' on the price of am Aubrey Encore and I found a RFB one on a very good offer.It seem to me that the price of an Aubrey have slightly gone up recently,and if I were to buy her later,the price would possibly go even higher.So I decided to buy her anyway.

I wanted to wait till my birthday and buy myself a IH or RDP,and although I kind of like Aubrey,she wasn't really what I really wanted.So I'm afraid that someday she might have to go when I manage to get those dolls that I really like(I want to keep my collection small and get only those that I really like).I feel that it's really sad when dolls has to be adopted out!

Oh well,at least Tina will be having a sister for now!

I'll possibly be doing some customizing to her.I'll be matting her and adding eyelash first.Perhaps I'll make her real unique so that I'll won't be thinking of adopting her out in the future.heehee

Tina:Nope.I have a pet.A bunny about three time my size!She's isn't here today however.

Tina:Of course.Expensive bags for expensive dollies!Now,do you see barbies with those?Oh no,they are too cheap for it!

Tina:OH MY GOD!They are a total MESS!I mean,look at kate!She was soooo washed out the last time I saw her at a party!And what's that new girl's name?Angyness deyn?She does look good on the runway and all.But she's a mess everytime I saw her outside of a fashion show!

Tina:As you can see,models do eat.At least for me anyway.Can't say so for my follow models!But then they don't have a slim body like me!Look at barbie!Such big boobs and small bodies!They all did boobs jobs!Anyone can tell!

To be truthful,I think that I've bought almost all the sets(possibly around 3/5 of them?) that I really like and which are easily available.Except for those that are really hard to find!But it's possibly a good thing cause I can start saving up for a new Blythe doll and look out only for the new re-ment sets out there.Looking for hard to find or discontinued sets is such a headache!

I'm thinking of selling off my three rement sets from this collection,and use the money to buy the whole box of it.I spent so much to find those sets that I want while I could had spend less and got all of them instead and sell off those that I don't like-_-"

Just got the entire Rement shoes and bags collection today... Tina sat on it and declared that it's all hers!The dolly house is getting rather messy with so many stuff.I want a kitchen but it seem there's no space for it:(

I lost one side of Tina's stock shoes today:(And I love welcome winter's shoes so so much!Her blush seem to be slightly 'rubbed' off too:(Sigh.

It's my sixth day(bought her on 18 march) with her today,and it seem that I won't feel safe leaving her while I go out.But after the above mention incident,I'm thinking of leaving her at home when I'm out.It makes me feel really sad about not bringing her with me though.

I had just realized that 18 march was possibly the same day I got the favourite doll I had during my childhood many years ago.I hope Tina will remain as my favourite doll too.Although welcome winter isn't the one I would have gotten if I were slightly richer,it only made her more special to me.My favourite doll during my childhood wasn't the prettiest but I loved her because she was different and knowing that others might not feel that same about her,it makes me feel that I should love her more.

Oh yea.The 'favourite doll' of mine look pretty much like a Hollywood Blythe(the Blythe that made me fall in love with them).It had short curly hair and big round blue eyes.It was the kind of dolls that couldn't close their eyes though.And she had no eyelashes but instead,got drawn on ones(not by me).Her mouth was half opened too.That's possibly why I had always thought of her as a 'not so quiet' girl:)

She was throw away when I grew too old for my dolls.I wish I didn't.But she wasn't in a very good shape because she had one leg gone(caused by me but I didn't know what I did would make her leg go lose) and her face drawn with using pen ink as makeup.I was such a naughty kid!Of course the same treatment won't apply to my Blythe doll(s)!

I'm kind of worried about me getting a new Blythe(I'm thinking of getting another perhaps during next year).What if I don't like Tina as much any more?:*(

I can't believe I'd change the date of getting my Welcome Winter from Monday to Wednesday!I want her soooo much right now!!!

Bought some clothes for her today.There were from Barbie.Wanted to get her a bed but couldn't find any:(

My favourite.There are a few other piece but I don't like them as much and the photos didn't turn out very well either.hehehe

I hope she's going to like purple:D

Expecting a welcome winter

I saw a blythe in person yesterday for the first time ever since I've started looking at them on flickr.It was a Kozy Kape with her stock outfit that caught my attention.There were other dolls on display too,but who can ignore a Kozy Kape?My heart almost leap out of my chest when I saw her.There were a Hollywood in the shop too!

I'll be expecting a Welcome winter next Wednesday,and she's going to be my first ever blythe!I've started this blog partly because of her.I've tried blogging about dolls and rement in my personal blog but nobody seem to be interested and I'm afraid they might be bored reading dolly stuff.So here's one where I can blog as much as I want about dolls and rement!

Stuff that I bought yesterday...

Rement tv.To entertain my doll when I'm not around.lol.I cut out a photo of some food to be used behind the screen.

Lobster.The white plates are going to be soooo useful...

There were a lot more choices but I was wearing a very short dress and couldn't bend down to see them!Paid for some other rement sets from an online seller yesterday too.Hope I'll be able to get them soon.

Can't wait to get my welcome winter!
